Great cozy fun place. Great service and food.
Great food, very nice people.
Awesome home cooked meals
The food was excellant. The owner came out to talk to us and was warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience.
Fantastic staff and awesome food. Had the cheeseburger which was on a very tasty bun with fixings on the side. The potato cakes are a must. The salad sampler is a great way to get several of their signature salads. Look out for dessert, it will get you!
Good little tea room with good selections.
What a cute place! It's bright and pretty inside. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious!!
I haven't been there in several years. I am a big fan of their chicken salad and broccoli salads. I bought a couple of their frozen casseroles to try.
Great place for lunch with a girlfriend. The food was good but the service leaves a little bit to be desired.
Off the beaten trail. Half block from the Historic Williamson County Square in Georgetown Texas. Specialty is homemade quiche, salads, and yeast rolls. Amazing cold peach soup was on the blackboard daily special when we stopped Saturday for lunch. Pleasant and delightful staff and owner. Great value — a lot of healthy tasty food for the buck. Only open for extended lunch. We will stop here again!
Food great, service small town cute. I would go back.
Love this place! Best quiche, best soups, awesome all around!
Cheese burger was good as always, as was the sweet potato fries. The BLT my wife order was lacking strips of bacon. Looks like they use cut up pieces and used more tomato slices. If we was not in a rush I would sent the BLT back.
Cool little place to go up and have a little sandwich or a hamburger hamburgers are really big and honestly need to be shared with somebody else plenty of other sandwiches and soups that they have here the desserts are also pretty good the selection of somewhat limited compared to other restaurants but there's enough on the menu for people to choose from go out and support this local cafe and enjoy
Healthiest place in town to eat and has made from scratch food my mom used to make. Love this place. Been frequently a fan ever since it opened back in the 90s.
I had the egg salad sandwich. It was so good!! I recommend Laurie's Cafe. Love the atmosphere.
The food is delicious and fresh. The ability to create different combinations of food (quiche, salads, sandwiches, soup, muffins, etc.) should make it appeal to just about anybody. I would give it 4.5 stars if possible; the food is fabulous but the decor could use some updating.
Quaint deli in the heart of tge Downtown Georgetown Town Square, we were greeted by a pixie-like said, smiling welcomingly. The chicken salad sandwich I had, with a cup if chilled peach soup, were just the right lunch portion and extremely delicious. You can taste the love put into the food. I am looking forward to returning, since I live so close.
Excellent little cafe!! Had chicken salad with a homemade yeast roll!! Food was good!!The ice tea was absolutely the best I have had in years!! They also had treats like chocolate cake in the dessert case that looked amazing!!
Small town cafe with simple menu but home cooked. Great staff, attentive and courteous.
Still a very good place for lunch.
We've been to Laurie's Cafe about ten times. The food has always been fresh and tasty. Love the quiche and cobb salad combo. Nice place to meet friends for lunch and conversation.
I have never had anything I didn't like at this delightful little tea shop. Located just off the square with a city parking lot across the street makes it easy to find parking. I had the green chili quiche and it was wonderful with a flakey crust. The cream of asparagus soup was spicy and hit the spot! The muffin was slightly sweet with a dusting of powdered sugar. The green salad made a very colorful plate.
Wonderful service, atmosphere, and food!
Ho hum faire. Nothing exciting & the soup was just plain weird. Service was fine.
The chicken salad sandwich was good. The cocunut cream pie was really good.
Home made food and friendliness.
Food was delicious, prices were good. We'll definitely go back.
I should've taken my $30 to Olive Garden. Be prepared to walk in without being greeted or seated. If they are short staffed you'll wait awhile. Rude server will give you attitude upon departure(pay at register) if you mention poor service & bad food(burnt bacon & stale wheat bread). I made no demands/didn't speak to mgr. I'll just let karma take care of that.
Nice atmosphere. Good location, close to downtown Georgetown. Friendly wait staff. Good value for money. Especially love the chocolate cake - we always get one for take away. We've never been disappointed.
Today wasn’t the best experience. The food and customer service was all mediocre. I really wanted to like this place but found it lacking in all aspects. Oh well 😔
Quaint and sweet, a cheerful atmosphere with excellent food! We had lemon raspberry muffins which were so delicious we had to take some to go. Then We enjoyed the pork loin sandwich and chicken spaghetti. We were in from Waco and our common choice, Monument cafe, was so busy we couldn't spend the time waiting- we happened to pass here-- everything was full of flavor and did not disappoint!
Yummy food, friendly and fast service, calm, peaceful atmosphere. Smiles
Just good food.
Great lunch choices with attentive wait staff. They were very kind to my year old grandson!
Homemade chicken noodle soup, egg salad and gingerbread muffin, all delicious, smiling staff, cute little place, definitely worth a repeat visit.
Great food small place right on the town square.
Great food.
Have always loved this cafe and the food is delicious ! Quick and gracious service.
Great food, nice people.
I have never been here that the service has not been fantastic! Plus the food is always spot on fresh and made to order. One of my favorite places to eat. Come for an early lunch or late lunch because the lunch hour rush is super busy!
Food was good but no gloves or masks on employees
Great comfort food. The staff is very welcoming and nice. Their soups of the day and potato cakes are really good.
Cute place, mediocre food and service. Really messed up our bill and overcharged us $8.00.
Love em'!!! So long as they don't change original recipes they will be in business forever!
The kind of restaurant you would expect in the oh-so-lovely Georgetown town square. My boyfriend's mom and I decided to drop in for a light lunch after we spent some time shopping and drinking some wine in the square. We shared the meatloaf platter and she also had the daily soup, which she liked. The meatloaf was OK, nothing terribly special. It was topped with a ketchup/tomato sauce. The mashed potatoes was actually really interested. In tasted like box but then fresh grated potatoes was added for a different texture. It wasn't bad, just different. My boyf's mom LOVED the broccoli salad! She inhaled it.Service was friendly and fast.
Food and Service is always top notch.
Great burgers. Didn't try anything else yet.
This little cafe was amazing!! I had the homemade quiche, broccoli salad and jalapeño muffin..This cafe is worth stopping in!!! It will always be my go to cafe on my way through Georgetown!!
Waitress was not friendly. Acted as if we were bothering her. Wasn't busy yet she still Mixed up our drink order then forgot out refills. Over priced burger. The bun is what made it taste good not the beef. Not enough potato cakes. Chicken salad too salty. Blt short on bacon. Over priced can of soda $1.99 yikes. Up side place was clean. Cashier was friendly. I won't be back.
